My son was married last year and to raise money, they had a ‘Jack and Jill’ party.

I donated a chess board, crib board, combo (another post) and this ‘Rocking Snail” I found in an old magazine.

Everything is made out of Maple so you know it weighs a ton.

Don, that snail looks great. I have a one year old that is just about old enough for a rocking creature. I dont realy want to make a generic horse, i want to find something a bit different. This is a great idea right there. How does the hardwood floor hold up, id hate to scratch my floors up.

If you want, I’ll look through my magazines and find the issue it was from.

As far as how the floor is holding up, it was sold at the Jack and Jill by someone else who I hope has carpet in the livingroom….maybe a small mat or rug?
