A co worker of my son’s knew I was ‘into woodworking’, as he puts it and asked him if I could make her a crib board that was a little different. After browsing around and giving her some options, this is what I cam up with.
Yes, there are a few drunk holes in it but with that grain, who really notices :o)
I made the board from Rosewood and the base from Mahogany.

Don, your work makes me want to get out my store bought cribbage board and burn it. I used to love playing cribbage on camping trips and your work brings back lots of fun memories….

That’s a nice cribbage board. Beautiful job and very unique. Haven’t played much since I moved back down south. Thanks for the post

Very nice, the base really add so much to it. Is there storage for pegs and cards?
Great job!

Thanks…
I asked the person I did it for if she wanted a storage compartment and she declined so I didn’t bother.
I’d have to go back to the drawing board and do a redesign if she had so I was kind of glad she said no :o)

I had to look long and hard to find the drunk holes… I like them… reminds me of the time my uncle and I were playing and chasing down a few beers… couldn’t find the holes to save us. Uh, I was well under age… couldn’t walk after the game… my mother was rather upset with her brother….
Nice wood… nice design… makes the game all that much more fun.
