Blanket chest from plans in Woodworker’s Journal. Painted wood is poplar; panels and lid are cherry. Cedar lining (t&g) on floor of chest.

Thanks for the kind comments. The corners of the box are rabbetted and the floor is in a dado. Panels sit in a rabbet and are held in place by a trim piece.
