Hi, here is yhe last cabinet that I made. I started it on a workshop in Germany with Garrett Hack and finished it at home (door, inlays and finishing) in Spain. It is made of cherry with quarter sawn spruce shelves and back. The inlay are made with ebony, holly, maple and redheart. the knob is also made with ebony with a small dot made with boxwood. It is all made using handtools except that I did not prepare the cherry wood (I was already prepared for the workshop). It is finished with shellac for the outside and just the wood polished with the plane in the inside. I hope you like it.
Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks balidoug. What do you mean with I5P or …the other?

Wow, that’s really nice. I’ve always loved that black and white banding, gives it a classic look.

The banding in Hack’s work is often Morse code. Since your banding had shorts and longs interspersed with equal length separators, I assumed you were also using Morse code and I was trying to decipher it.

Ok, Now I understand, but no I was not trying to say nothing (I think that is a GarrettĀ“s feature and I do not feel confortable copying that) , just trying to make the cabinet looking more stylish thinking that with more white in the middle it will look thinnest over there, I do not know if I got it, waht do you think?. Thanks for all.
