No, I'm Not Addicted!

Project by MsDebbieP posted 135 days ago 642 views 1 time favorited 37 comments Add to Favorites Watch

July 16/09

Hi, my name is Debbie and….

... and I can’t keep up with the demand!
All except the one of the left, which is ash, are made from a pine 2×2.

Because the pine is so easy to turn, I’m just having fun with these little cuties.

Thanks, once again to Traci, from Fox Chapel Publishing, for the “Turning Vintage Toys” book. (Read more about this venture, here.) Watch for the free draw!

They really are cute Deb. I can see why you’d get hooked. How do you make the little ears?

It looks like your house is going to be taken over by mice.

Do you know that mice have about 11 in each litter?

They are just tooooo adorable! And wood mice don’t eat much either. These would be great stocking stuffers!

It’s a good thing you’re NOT addicted. Otherwise you might find yourself looking for a bigger place. These are way cool.

Debbie: you could drill a hole somewhere and use them as desk pen holders. Then you could justify your other addition to pen turning :)

I love the mice seeing these on a shelf reminded me of the mouse man of Kilburn (his link here http://www.robertthompsons.co.uk/index.php) who carves a mouse in every piece of furniture they make

keep up the inspiring work
