Tha first box I actually made for myself, the pics really don’t do it justice. It is of Pauduk and Basswood and is 16”x5”x4 3/4”deep. Walnut hinges. The splines were cut with a biscut jointer. I haven’t finished out the inside yet and I planned on making walnut handles for the sides. The idea was to build a box to hold my carving tools to take to the Ol’ Boys carving club (more like a shoot the crap session, but it’s fun). I’ll finish it some time!

Neat box, love the carving. My great, great grandmother did chip carving and someday I would like to try it.
