Actually had some left over pieces from a cutting board that I was making for my wife’s sick friend. This turned out so well with the color I though I would also try to cut the moat in (first time). Once I put the mineral oil on to finish it I fell in love with it.

Hope to use the Bocote wood and marble wood again, the thiner strips were purpleheart and maple.

Great job!

I love the wood that is on the outside. What is it?

Outer boards are Bocote which is only second time using it but the grain is incredible.
