My Wife recently retired and decided she wanted to begin painting again. When we first were married she did quite a bit of painting in acrylics. After the kids were born she gave it up. She asked me if I could/would build her an easel. I said CERTAINLY!!! I began looking online for examples of what was offered and settled on a certain design/style and then put my own “Take” on it. Here’s how it turned out. The Canvas holders slide on the center rail and will hold up to a 56” canvas. Easily folds and tucks behind the couch. Made from dimensional 2x Douglas Fir. Total cost…$9.00. Similar ones online…$180.00.
She LOVES it! I apologize for the quality of the pic!! It looks a LOT better in person!!! My pooch Molly is camera shy!!!
