I made this out of some Hawaiian Lama wood I won on Ebay. It is a nice wood sometimes called Hawaiian Ebony. I used a Black Enamel Patriot Pen kit and CA\BLO fish about 6 coats on it.

Great job matching the color of the figuring to the pen hardware. You made a beautiful pen. How was the wood to turn?

Turning the pen was actually pretty easy, I thought the wood would be very hard like ebony but it wasn’t.
