Walnut Serving Tray

Made this tray a little while ago. The wood is walnut, with the center band being mahogany.

Measures about 12×20 inches

I thought these pulls marched the look pretty well. They are black with copper streaks throughout.

I will admit this project was not my favorite, as the dishing out the tray recess was very time consuming and required a lot of sanding. The finish is several coats of Arm-r-seal.

Very Nice.

I love the mahogany strip. It blends into the lighter walnut and took a minute for me to find the glue line.
