This was my first attempt at a true carving project. The legs, sides and top were all made from the same piece of wood. I lowered the inside of the top with a router and carved the cove all around the inside. The feet are less than stellar but it doesn’t look bad for the first try. I’ve taken some classes since then.

I’d say you did a very nice job, first try or no. It looks pretty darn good to me.

I bet when you whittle a grand piano comes out. Very nice table a fine job. You talked about taking classes were have you taking classes at?
