First of all, many thanks to Woodshaver for all of his answers to my numerous questions.

My version is made out of some red oak scraps and sprayed with 4 or 5 coats of rattle-can laquer. A coupld of the pictures were taken before I had the slider knob and a couple after. Works much better with something to pull. It uses the sloped slider design along with the rubber band to retract the slider and keep the jar contents from ending up all of over the place. It works great. So good that we’re already on our second jar fillup!

Thanks again Tony.

Nice job on it. It looks to have a larger jar. I have one built from Tony’s plans also. Just need to put on a finish. These really are cool.

Well well lookie here! Now that’s one good looking Candy dispenser Scott. Your efforts paid off that’s for sure!

I would also like to add that Rockbuster gave me the plans and was the one that got me started on this project and I must give credit where it’s due.

I did a few modifications or tweakes to the plans and that made the slider movement work a little better. plus added that rubber band to help keep the candy from falling out on it’s own if someone picked the dispenser up to handle it, which was a huge help.

All and all you pulled it off Scott nice Job!
Now DoubleDD needs to post his!

I guess that I did open this can of worms, with the original, but Tony Woodshaver and a few of you other guys deserve a pat on the back for experimenting and expanding these. Sure is nice to see a project like this take off, and get so much attention. Keep up the good work guy’s, who knows when one of us will get a call from Wal-Mart, asking us to mass produce these.

I bet you had no idea how big that can of worms really was! It was fun helping Scott. He’s a great guy to work with!

That is really cool, looks like it won’t be long before you need to fill that jar again. LOL.
