OK – this was one of those really sweet, creative jobs everybody dreams about.
I was asked to design a sculpture based on the design in the entry door of the house my brother and I built (the Cooper House).
From the direct front and rear view it appears as the design in the door. As you move around it becomes a mutidirectional abstract. Very Cool! That particular idea came from a creative friend of the client’s and I was asked to develop it.
The model is in 1/4 scale and currently the dimensions put it at 9’ 6” in diameter. The finished sculpture will be in steel. The model is painted with Rustoleum Hammered Metal paint and it really helps show the possibilities of the finished project.
