New first time Dad over here, so this will be the first of many woodworking projects to come for the little guy. I decided to take a stab at making him a custom, handmade crib. I did a rough design based on some pictures that I liked from the internet and read up on the specs for baby proofing and went from there. I used the CNC to create some interactive engravings for him – the letters of the alphabet on one of the head board slats and numbers on the other. Plus we added a sun, moon, turtle and compass rose to go with the underwater themed nursery. Our biggest issue was getting into the room because it was too big to fit in the doorway, so we had to bust out a window – LOL. Hope you like what you see.
