I made a lightsaber from Darth Vader :), Star Wars. It all started with an unused table lamp that was destined for the landfill. I took it apart to salvage the electrical components and I was about to pitch the lamp heavy body when I realized it would make a terrific lightsaber!
I turned a 3/4” oak dowel epoxied into the end, airbrushed some lightning bolts down its length, added some little translucent airbrush paints and I have a lightsaber.
I can see that the airbrush will add another dimension to my woodworking. It will be exciting to see what I can accomplish with it.
