This is the third rocker I’ve made but the first that was completely my design. The fuselage is made of 12, 1in thick yellow pine boards glued together with biscuits. The nose and tail cones were fun to glue up! The stick is movable as is the thrust lever and the dials on the dash. The kids love it, but my oldest did say there should be real fire shooting out of the tailcone! I guess I can’t please everyone. :)

Nice rocket captkerk. Looks like you might of had more fun than the kids. I know I would have.

Neat toy – I’d have had a blast with that as a kid. Who am I kidding? ... I’d still have fun with it now!

I’m hurt that my dad never built me one. Can’t wait for a grandson. I need an excuse to build one now.
Great idea—-and a really good job.
