Straight up preplaned select pine and lauan BUT it came out amazingly tight and rigid considering. I had purchased plans for a hope chest and after reviewing the cut list I realized that with a lack of ability in milling down stock I was going to have to “wing it” and just map out the chest on my own. After getting the rough dimensions I wanted I just fit everything together as I went along. This is my tightest joinery to date and it required me to make certain my tooling and clamps grow soon if I want to continue to progress.

Ty, Very nicely constructed chest. Your mortise and tenon joints came out great.
