I do not have many photos of my work hanging in the buyers home. This is one of the best photos.
Customer started buying my work on ebay, and became a loyal repeat customer. Merridee eventually started her own collection of antque tiles and comissioned me to design and make a few frames. In the photo is her sitting room in Park City. The long framed display on the wall behind the chairs is my autocad creation. Tiles are 2 and 3 inch antique cucumber green Gruebys. Frame is quartersawn white oak, mortice and tenon pegged construction w/ bookmatched sides, golden oak dye, danish oil, armorseal, garnett shellac and minwax antique mahogany paste wax. The lattice work on this piece is 1/4×3/4 strips of qswo, half-lap joinery and 1/8 pegged.

The smaller piece over the fireplace is also one of my work. Tile was made in my studio, starting as a mahogany relief carving, then plaster molded, pressed clay and then kiln fired. Frame, designed in autocad with mortice and tenon construction with very similar finish as the larger one.

I really like these Dan. Do you have a close up of the long one?

Looks like Merridee is also an A&C aficionado. Nice work.

it’s pretty cool that a customer would provide a pic of how they have displayed your work.

Really nice Dan, the room looks like a doll house.
