This is a cherry piano that I made for the wife’s birthday. Plan was from an old copy of scrollsaw and woodworking magazine. First time really using cherry. Other than the mild scorching on the scrollsaw, it is really nice to work with. Also my first time using shellac. Many thanks to Jeremy Pringle for his advice on how to prepare and apply it. I used a 2lb cut and used garnet flakes. It plays Pachbels Canon in D, which the wife walked down the aisle to at our wedding. She cried then, and when I gave her the piano too. Probably happy tears.
