Another woodworking project. This one took less than a day to build. It is a three panel decorative screen. I built it from pine boards with 1/4″ plywood for the two panels within each of the three screens. The screen “frames” were glued and held in place with pocket screws from the back (since the back isn’t seen).
Here’s a picture of the completed (but undecorated) screen:
My wife (that’s her in the picture above) did the decorating by adding fabric to each of the panels with black “roping” outlining each. Here’s a close-up of one of the panels:
And here is the final screen:
This was a quick and easy project (no finish was applied). We’ll see how it holds up, but it has earned a place in our family room, so I guess she likes it ;)
