Wooden Tool Tote with Drawer

My first project after completing my roubo workbench. The assembly and storage bench in the third picture is still a work in progress.

The tool tote has a hand dovetail bottom, and thru mortises for the tray bottom. My hand dovetail skills are getting better. Used UHMV tape on the drawer runners.

Nice job sims, I like the drawer addition. I am in the middle of a very similar tote sans the drawer. Your profile for on the handle looks good. I haven’t thought about what I will do with mine yet.

Congrats with the new bench and welcome to LJ’s. Very inspiring place around here.

real nice work, dovetails and M/T look real tight.

Nice tote. I should make something like this for a young boy I know. By the way, your hand dovetails are much better than mine.

Great job, Simms ! There is a hand tool only contest over on the hand tool forum with a Veritas apron plane as first prize. Jump in and give it a try.!

Nice job, I had a knock together/nailed one to carry my rough in materials, electrical, nothing that nice.

Have your say...
