Hello

What did you put on the board to finish it? an oil a lacquer or Wax?

how many coats did you apply? Someone also mentioned that you can also apply cooking oil is acceptable.

Any comments.

I used 3 coats of mineral oil, and then rubbed in another coat using 400 grit sandpaper until smooth. Then a final coat of heated mineral oil and beeswax rubbed in.

Nice cutting board. That is a beautiful piece of maple. I like your finish.
