I’ll appologize right off for the crappy pic. I will have to try to get better ones of this.
I made this jewelry box for my wife a few Christmas’ ago. I had pretty limited tools and experience at the time. Looking back, well, lets just say I’d like to make her another one. Of coarse she loves this one.
Anyway, it is bubinga and jatoba. My first attempt at “inlay” although the heart is purposely left proud of the lid, and has a diamond set in the heart. The little barrel hinges were the trickiest part.

Hey you’re right the pic is a little crappy but we have all had that no good camera spoil a nice project.
I started taking bad pics of bad projects and now my pics are getting better..
Nice use of timbers and the Inlay is hard to see but looks ok from here.
Overall good start!
