Here is another aquarium stand I built. It’s for a friends 150 gallon tank.
It is oak with mahogany trim. He wanted it stained the brightish reddish color.
The main corner supports are octoganal pillars. A 150 gallon tank weighs well over 1500 lbs, so it needed to be solid. It is.
I personally think the stand should have been taller, but because the tank is so high, he didn’t want it any taller so he could still reach into it.

Your design should hold the weight, you did a very nice job.

That is a tall 150 gallon. That’s a unique stand design and looks really nice.
