Here is a box I made for my mother (she is Dutch). It is walnut with meranti corner keys. The lid is an antique dutch tile. I wrapped the grain around the box. She loved it.
Finish is danish oil (I couldn’t find dutch oil.. :) )

Great job! I have several old German tiles that are sitting in a box that would be perfect in a project like this. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the hard work.
