We just finished this chestnut table for a client in Connecticutt. It’s a new version of one we built back in 2003. that one had a painted base and you can see it in the dining table section of my website here http://www.dorsetcustomfurniture.com/Items.aspx?mId=47&cId=65&pcId= . We wrote detailed instructions for carving the legs at that time and I have posted those instructions as well as other construction and finishing details for this recent table on my blog at http://dorsetcustomfurniture.blogspot.com/
