This isn’t my usual style, but this customer needed a small vanity to fit her modern sink. It’s solid maple which was then painted :gasp: black. I was between jointers at the time so I used S3S stock and that’s the last time I will do that. I had no control over how straight anything was so that added some challenge.
The whole project was a bit of a challenge because of it being attached to the wall and holding the sink and having plumbing beneath in such a small area. The top panel is a tip out “drawer” which holds small items like toothbrushes and toothpaste.
BTW, that sink is actually slightly larger on the bottom than the top. Don’t ask me how I know.

Definitely unique!! Didn’t she want it to go to the floor for a bit of storage space?

Nice work, I just did a search for floating vanity, and it came right up. Thanks!
