Hello Everyone,
This is my first attempt at making a jewelry box. It is made from white oak, and walnut.
It was made from a plan purchased at Woodcraft. This won’t be my last, I had a lot of fun doing it.
The finish is danish oil and varnish. My son told me to use micro suede for lining the drawers. I picked some up at Joannes Fabric store and I think it should look nice. Thanks for looking.

I’ve got this same plan but haven’t had the chance to sit down and use it yet. Were the plans sufficient in clarity and detail or did you have to adjust for missing or vague information?
Great job, especially for your first jewelry box!

Hi Charles, The plan was complete and easy to build from I thought. In my plan the 2 drawer bottoms had the wrong dimension for the width. I needed to add 1/4” on the width I believe. Thanks for the nice comment.

You did a great job. I wish my first had looked anywhere near that good.
