Finally finished the hand rail on the stairs at the new house… Balusters are mahogany, finished with two coats of poly. Handrail I purchased at a local supply outlet for $2 a foot, it’s “malaysian oak” whatever that is…and stained it to match the balusters.

Looks pretty cool, but it sure wouldn’t pass inspection around my area. You are not supposed to be able to fit a 4” sphere through the spindles.
