So here a a couple pics of a step stool I built a few years ago when my daughter was about 2 or 3 (she’s now 10). She had difficulty reaching the vanity sink to wash her hands, brush her teeth, etc. so I built this stool.
I actually built two versions of it (the second is long since gone, but she won’t let us discard this one!) with a different support bar on the back. This version was much stronger than the other.
So here are some details …
Materials … yellow pine
Finish … MinWax Early American stain, and single coat of MinWax Polycrylic Clear Satin finish. Step tops have two coats of Poly.
