My version of Christopher Schwarz and Popular Woodworking’s dutch tool chest. Very happy to put this use. Still have a few minor things to do to it, but it is basically done.

Details are posted in my blog

Thanks for looking!

Outstanding work Justin. It fits really well in your shop and looks like it has always been there. Love the bottle opener/handle too. Got to get one of those for my shop.

Excellent chest, Justin.
I cannot get over how that color matches your shop so well.

Gotta admit, the Dutchy looks more user friendly than my ATC since you don’t have to bend over as much to access tools.

Aye Terry, definately one reason i went with the dutch style. Bending over anymore isnt a pleasant experience, back surgeries and now knee issues.

Brother, I feel your pain. Back surgery in 1998 for me; knees are shot from 25 years of crawling around in caves!

Already looking at Dutchy plans, and milk paint…

Great looking tool chest. I’ve built one for myself, but I have yet to fit it out on the inside. I like the base that you built for yours.
