The 12 major segments of the bowl are made of Lyptus, The bottom is a 12 piece segment made of Black Walnut, The ring above the bottom is made from Yellow Heart and Pauduk, The ring above the Lyptus is Hard Maple and walnut between, The final ring is Black Walnut, Everything is 12 segments

Fantastic job! With the way the grain is running in that lyptus, this allomost looks scalloped.
Great choice of colors and contrasting woods.
