Blanket Chest

Project by Andy Brownell posted 146 days ago 520 views 0 times favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Cherry and quarter sawn sycamore panels. Got 12 panels 4 feet x 9 feet free from my old job. High end stuff.
Almost lost two fingers on the table saw with this project while making a poor cutting decision with a dado blade.
Motivated me to purchase SawStop. Never again.

Nice!!

Too bad you had to experience an accident to be able to purchase a new tool, however.

glad your fingers are still intact

Beautiful blanket chest. I guess it is already storing treasures, huh? :)

Andy, that is a nice looking chest and it does look like you have having fun with it. :) The sycamore looks good in combination with the cherry.

Very nice blanket chest.
If you can sleep inside the chest, you do not need the blanket…perhaps! LOL.
