I purchased plans for this table online. I cut the pieces as instructed, but during assembly I quickly realized the cruel fact that you need a perfect shop and a million dollars in tools to build as instructed. Many things I had to go back and make new cut, and re-engineer a few points, but overall I’m pleased with this project. The top is made from untreated lumber, and treated with Thompson’s color tinted water seal. The seats and base are made from pressure treated lumber, and then treated with Thompson’s.

We’re woodworkers, not journalists, so no worries about typing imperfections. Thanks for your comment. I had a hard enough time with this table I think I’ll take your advice next time I need a picnic table!!
