Black walnut Y with ends mitered. floating tenons strengthen the joint. finished with wiping varnish. 48” long x 18” tall

the joint was clamped and then I drove some screws in to secure it. Screws were then plugged

The legs coming down from the crotch section is a good idea (kinda like human anatomy :). I like the design a lot.

A really nice piece! Beautiful crotch walnut slab! Getting those ends parallel to each other was a challenge?
