Shallow reclaimed mahogany bowl
My wife, an interior designer, did some renovation work for a client. They dismantled a mahogany lintel off the entry doorway. About 50mm (2”) thick, 220mm (8-3/4”) wide.
Chucked on a worm-screw, reversed onto a chuck. Pretty basic in form, letting the wood have its say.
Diameter 170mm (6-3/4”), hight 42mm (just under 1-3/4”).
Finished with a bees / carnauba paste wax I concocted a while back.
Thanks for watching!
