Jewelry box for the niece

Made this for a niece. She wanted a box she could lock and keep the “babies” out of when the family is around. Which is all the time.

She liked the look of box joints and maple with a clean look. So I kept it simple and used a piece of maple with a bit of figuring and finished it with a brushing lacquer. She loves pink and was pumped to see the leopard print pink.

Box joint jig courtesy of William Ng. Thanks guy.

Thanks for looking.

You get more done in one week than I do in 3 months. Congrats on the great work!

Thanks man, made a simple box joint jig to do the sides and just glued the top and bottom then cut the top off when the glue dries. You got it August. Just dig around till you find something you like and just try it. That’s all I did bud.
