This is a simple modern looking end table that I came up with. I ripped the 7/4 Mohagny at a 45 degree angle to create the triangle shaped legs. Then ran them over my dado blade on the table saw. The shelf and top are birch plywood. I trimmed the edges of the plywood at a 45 to match the dados in the legs. I then used some Elmers Wood Glue to join pieces and clamped it together. Sanded and finished with clear semi-gloss? polyurethane finish.

I like it; interesting lines, very clean design. You don’t see many woodworkers building furniture from plywood, but why not? It’s a stable product and if you chose the right grade suitable for furniture making.
Very nice, Tim.

Looks functional. Function trumps form, in my book.

If you saw that in one of those ritzy Danish-modern furniture stores, they’d probably want about $500 for it! :-)

Nice looking table. I like how you cut the legs for the top to fit.
