this is another one of my small boxes 8×4 1/2×3 . it’s valley oak with a manzanita root piece on the lid , also a little malachite inlay. everything came out well except the two pieces of wood on the lid , they didn’t match as well as i would have liked.

You sure make some beautiful boxes, Paul. I love the rustic look. I really like the hinge on this one. I have some burl laying around. Mike have to try one similar to this one day.

I actually like the contrast in the two pieces of wood on the lid. Serendipity, brother.. that’s how my projects are better than I imagined. hahaha Very very impressive work
