This project started about 4 months ago but had a few hang ups along the way with the original clients that wanted it built and then backed out. I had to make some alterations to the size to make it a little more of a common table size that would fit the majority of households.
The final size is 36wx60Lx29h. I started out with dimension lumber, planed down to about an inch thick then jointed edges and joined the top with glue and pocket holes on the under side. The finish is one of my favorites, very strong black tea to start then finished off with vinegar and steel wool mix. The table top is finished with 4 coats of satin lacquer.
I had one of my sticker making buddies cut me a paint mask for the “Family”
Overall pretty happy with the outcome but I would definitely take some constructive advice as my intentions for being on this site is to learn and better my skills! thanks all
