Love the boxes.
I was sitting here trying to figure out how they were done. Take a block of wood; cut both ends off (1/2”?); cut remaining block it in half lengthwise; hollow out bottom half and top half on router table; glue 1/16” pieces of contrasting wood to ends that were cut off; drill holes and insert pins for top “hinge”; glue box together; shape as desired. How close did I come?
