I was tasked by my wife a few weeks ago to build another patio cooler and table made from my storage of reclaimed redwood I have, for her department at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. This is a little simpler than the other ones I have made, but it still turned out fine.
Every year St Luke’s does an auction and each department contributes a “basket” for their auction for the United Way, so this is what she voluntold me she wanted me to build. I had a few weekends to get it done, so no problem.
The amazing thing to me was that it sold for $1,100. That was amazing to me, although I know it is a write off to the winner and a donation to United Way, but still my wife and I we amazed. Oh well, I guess I know what I will be doing next summer for the auction.
Thanks for looking.
