Sculpted Birch chair, I salvaged this wood from a park near by, they took it down do to rotting. It had beautiful grain they had it cut into short lengths but I able to mill up a few chunks and sculpt a couple. I roughed this out a year or two ago and let her dry. finally got er the rest of the way sanded out and shot a few photos a couple days ago. The first pic is a before and after, finished with a poly. I might of worn off some finger prints working on this one.

Stunningly beautiful! An organic fusion of surrealism and Art Nouveau. It would look right at home in a Salvador Dali painting or sitting in the foyer of an Antoni Gaudi building. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great looking chair! Very organic looking, as though it just kinda formed itself!

Isn’t it amazing what beauty can come from within an old log?

This piece has a shy, almost timid personality but it is lovely as it sits there waiting for the right person to embrace it and take it home.

Your work is very pleasing to look at, as each piece has a lot of personality and character and you have an eye and the patience to make the shapes work until they flow with just the right angles and movement. Many have tried to create rustic furniture, but few have the insight to make their work into art.

Nicely executed!

You have amazingly released the inner beauty of this log, and created a well balanced piece of furniture!
