Three bud vases. The two outside ones are from the same piece of walnut. They are just under 7 inches high. The middle one is from the trunk of a small corkscrew willow tree that I cut down in my yard this last spring. It is 7½ inches high. It laid on my deck all summer, many 100+ degree days out here in sunny California. But it was still a little green when I turned it. You can see that it pulled to one side, after I finished turning it.

You picked some very nice woods to make them. They look great.

Nice vases, where did you get the inserts?

Hey Gixxerjoe04,

I ordered them on Amazon. Package of 72 test tubes, 10 were broke. But that still comes out to just under 66 cents each, with shipping handling etc. Not bad for a bunch of glass test tubes. The reviews I read said some breakage was common and to be expected.
