These 3 different cabinets are for a customer who wanted paint grade vanity cabinets.
The first 2 cabinet pics are for the master bath 21” deep and 34 1/2” tall 47” wide, along with the 4th which are for a make-up area. The pair of cabinets are 15” deep, 16”wide and 29” tall.
The 3rd pic is for a 2nd bath with limited space. it’s 18” deep and 34 1/2” tall, 50” wide.
Doors and drawer fronts are standard stick and cope. At first the panels were going to be flat MDF, then he asked if I could put the same material as his wainscott material. Sure, why not. Just have to make the groves line up and back cut the panels, no problem.
6 doors, 14 – 5 piece drawer fronts and 11 dovetailed drawer boxes.

I agree. I really like what you’ve done. However, I used to build cabinets and it always broke my heart when people wanted to paint wood! Keep the grain people….PLEASE! Anyway, really, i like your cabinets a lot.

Yep, there is a deep sigh from me when they say they want to paint! I always ask again, “are you sure you want to paint them?”

Great work. I can imagine your dismay of them wanting to paint such beautiful wood.

As a fellow woodworker, I too hate to hear the word paint…..guess what my wife likes? Not divorced yet though…..

Really nice work. What are the panels made from? They look like they would be fantastic with an amber shellac on them.

Hey Russel, the panels are 3/8” thick plywood bead board paneling that the customer used as wainscott.
