That table is so elegant. I love the deep, rich finish you chose. I only wish there were some more pictures to show some of the details. But beautiful work.

Thanks, this is one of those projects where I was really pleased with the milling and construction but, when it came to finishing it I feel that it didn’t quite meet my standards. I used Eastern Maple and even with a wood conditioner applied the stain blotched. My wife couldn’t tell and everyone else that looks at it doesn’t see it or at least is kind enough to not point it out. It literally made me sick when I watched it happen. Ugh….. oh well, live an learn.
