Ok so my mom dose these stain/painted window things, this is one she did for her best friend son as a wedding gift. my mother wanted it to be back light so i built a frame around it and put a hard board back on it i also installed rope light for lighting. the wood used was gumwood of course and i think it turned out lovely.

Beautifull Piece of art! Lke patron said, you can’t beat mom. Let her know that is a fantastic stained glass piece.
Putting it in a frame with rope light sounds like a good idea. Great job on tha frame design.
