After seeing how quickly I was starting to ruin my camera with scratches and sawdust by moving it all around the shop, this bench to that bench, in drawers, on top of tools, etc, I decided to give it a home for some protection. I keep it in a leather case while upstairs, but when it’s in the shop it sure gets bounced around. I didn’t like unzipping the case in the shop every time I needed to take a progress picture. Here is what I came up with.
Just a small box with some felt, and a magnetic catch. I added a camera lens and button at the last moment for laughs. Made of cedar and some other scrap. Now I can take a quick picture or two and put it right back in the box.
The camera in the picture is not the one I use, but almost the same.
Thanks for looking.
