Portrait of my wife and I

Project by Jamie posted 157 days ago 376 views 0 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This was my first attempt at making a pattern from a photograph. It was a valentines gift in 2006 for my wife.
I was quite pleased with the results I got using a free photo editing app on my iBook.
The wood is 1/4” baltic birch and the frame is from Hobby Lobby. It measures 12”x12”

I don’t know if it’s a good likeness or not, but it sure looks like a man and a woman. :-)

A great job, I guess. We’ll all get to vote after the picture is posted.

That’s a great job on the portrait, something to be really proud of.

Jamie,
Really nice job! Looks like you did an excellent job of (likeness) from the photo to the wood. It appears that you enjoy scrolling as much as I do. I just don’t get to do as much as I’d like. I viewed most all the other projects you have they are very nice works also. Take care and keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis
