This is the project that got me started in wood working. Hello, new guy posting his first project. This was a little over two years ago. Plans were used from Anna white farm house table. Simple 2×4/2×6 construction. I did it with a circular saw and an orbital sander. It took me forever due to one having the two tools and because I have to sand down and restrain the entire top… O and because I put 6 layers of poly on.

Looks pretty sturdy to me, and will last to be her first table. We all started with just one or two tools, but the sickness spreads and you’ll be having two or three of the same tools…that’s when you know you need help. You’ll need help to build the new shop to hold them all.

Nicely done!

You did well for your 1st project.
Except your center piece is off center.

Excellent! Welcome to the asylum! We look forward to seeing more beautiful projects in the future. I’m sure your family will enjoy that table for many years.

Very beautiful. And the table isn’t too bad either.
